Can you believe it?

I received Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for Christmas and I swear that I haven't put it down except for when I must force myself to let it go in order to greet various family members. I haven't even wanted to go on the computer because this stupid, (wonderful) and highly distracting (amazing) video game has kept me pre-ocuppied. I don't know where the time goes! One minute it's 2:00 and the next it's 6:00, no joke. The worst part is that I've left it at my Mom's house and I have to wait a whole DAY before I can play it again. Isn't that sad that it pains me so much just to wait for one day? W-w-withdrawal symptoms kicking in....... :fear:

Anyway, enough about that. Merry (late) Christmas and happy (late) New Year. Again proof of my sudden and disturbing lack of need for the computer. Hope everyone had fun timez and received joyous presents. :)

I've done a lot of travelling myself. I just came back from Montreal and its delicious vietnamese soups (sorry, I know, weird). I enjoyed gaining the privilage of being able to bump my age up to the Quebeqois legal drinking age without so much as a bat of an eyelash. Oh, family contacts... :D I also finally went skiing in Lake Placid, New York! My mom and I travelled there last March Break, but all the snow had melted, sadly prohibiting any skiing. So we decided to return! :XD:

I really want my game. I have to resist the temptation to look up the gameplay on Youtube. Gahhhh...

Weeeeeell, I wish everyone a good end to the holidays, and good luck afterwards in the new year!! :heart:

Why don't I ever update this thing? It's been, like, what...3 months? I hardly even have a half-assed reason now, except that I got a new journal skin for FREE and I want to see what it looks like. This doesn't even matter on my MB account... :tears:

Oh well, at least everyone's happy to hear from me! Right...? :B

So...what's going on? I did some cosplaying if anyone's interested in my stunning (not) costumes. Never mind, I could only find one. :D Any guesses? [link]

What else is new? OHH!! New, ground-breaking, could-be-the-end-of-the-world, previewed by a cliff-hangar, life or death chapter of Fullmetal Alchemist is - has, sorry - come out and I'm slowly destroying myself by writing this instead of reading that.

Ummmmmmm...school is educational and I have my mom for a teacher starting tomorrow. That should be interesting.

I'm excited for the anime con in December. I think I might go as Hungary from Hetalia, but I'm still not sure.

I'm obsessed with Stride Uber Bubble (insert trademark sign here). It's the best flavour that has ever existed. Besides the fact that it is essentially just bubble gum. But it has kick, that's fo shizzle.

I obviously have an exciting life.

I am now a certified Drow in my D & D game, for which I am very proud of. I worked hard watching other people make my character for me. An' Imma gonna be a big scary necromancer! :fuzzydemon:

Is this really boring? Because I'm actually having fun.

But now I reeeeaaaalllly want to read FMA. I'm, like, clawing my eyes out as I type. I can't see! ...Fail. That was just unnecessary.

Reborn!

No, I'm not reffering to the amazing anime series, in fact, I am rejoicing, for my computer has been just that...reborn... :XD:

So, after a week of constantly re-reading my entire manga collection, I have returned to the cyber world once again. Thanks goodness! I swear I've caught myself staring at the dark, blank, foreboding screen for long minutes, walked away, and later having no recollection of the incident whatsoever.

Anyway! I don't live in Winnepeg. Never have, never will. And yet, every year a major convention takes place called Ai-kon. Heard of it? Now who can guess where I'm going to visit some friends next week? DING! *twitch* But here's the kicker. *twitch, twitch* I'm arriving the day after. Yup, that's right! *Insert manical laughter here* I think I passed out when I compared the date of the con and the date of my departure... Meh... Good news is that I'm going to a Fan Expo at the end of August and every guest there, I know. :w00t: I already have all my manga/anime/video games/posters planned for them to sign. :giggle: It won't be as big as Ai-Kon but, but, but...*cries* Gracious, I sound like a spoiled child. :P

Btw, for those who love/like yaoi, watch Gravitation. I just finished it last last night (morning) and it's so juicy, mmm'yesh. :D

Finally!

At Anime North, I received a big hug and a CD from the one and only Vic Mignogna! *fangasms* 8D They kicked us out of the autograph line because there were too many people, though...but I'd rather take a Q&A session and a hug any day! :P For those who don't know his personality, he's actually the sweetest person I've ever met. He's a Catholic and even holds church sessions at anime cons when he can. Just the way he talks...his voice is so compassionate, and he's really funny too. Anyway, I'm just so glad we got to see him talk.

AN (and other major cons, of course) is probably one of the most welcoming places ever. No one gets judged by race, or other disabilities because everyone has something in common: the love of anime and manga. Hugs were given constantly and I was surprised that people were so nice! I'm really happy I was recognised enough to get hugs and "Demyx" and his friend even said I had the best Larxene cosplay he's seen! ^^; Plus, some guy randomly came up to us in a restaurant, we started chatting, and now my friend and I have him on facebook. :giggle:

Geez...I'm looking through my pictures now, and I must have taken 100 at least. Some of the costumes were so well designed and many people made them by hand. One young woman even made and enormous sword out of plywood. I'll definitely post pictures when I figure out how to...hehe. For now I'll let you imagine my Axel plushie sitting beside my new Light Yagami one! ^^

Anime North!!

After literally 6 months of planning, my friends and I are heading off to Anime North for the day tomorrow! :D This is my first major convention and also my first time cosplaying. I'm so excited that I'm actually bouncing off the walls...no joke...:XD:

I'm cosplaying as Larxene from Kingdom Hearts, aaaaaannnnnddddd, Vic Mignogna (THE english voice actor) is going to be there!!! I'm gonna shove my way through every living soul in front of me to ask (force) him to sign my first volume of D. N. Angel. 8D

There'll be plushies and manga and anime DVD's and this and that...*:drool:'s at all the possibilities* I actually don't know what to expect at all. The building is huge and fancy, plus the tickets are really expensive so I hope the "exhibits" will be worth it. WHAT AM I SAYING??!! Of course they will be! Omgomgomgomgomg breathe...

Yeeeeaa, pretty much...:giggle: I will take pictures and post them, yes indeed. :wink:
